A Villa with a Story
Nestled in the beautiful surroundings of Runaway Bay, Jamaica, Sevilla Retreat is more than just a holiday villa. It is a place with character, history and a little Caribbean magic.
Originally designed and built by a renowned Italian builder, the property was once known as Villa Sevilla (VS). Its colourful history includes a wonderful story of Bob Marley and his crew visiting the villa to discuss music and politics during its early years.
For over twenty years, we have had the pleasure of managing and caring for this unique Caribbean home, welcoming families and friends from around the world.
In 2024, Sevilla Retreat underwent a complete refurbishment, bringing fresh life to its beautiful spaces while preserving the distinctive architecture and relaxed atmosphere that make it so special.
Today, our wish is simple: to offer our guests a peaceful, private retreat where they can escape the pressures of everyday life, enjoy the warmth of Jamaica and create memories to treasure.

Our Owner — The Creative Spirit Behind Sevilla Retreat
As an artist and the owner of Sevilla Retreat, I wanted to create something a little different — a beautiful, welcoming Caribbean home where families and friends could escape the pressures of everyday life, relax and make wonderful memories. Although I cannot always be in Jamaica to welcome you personally, Sevilla Retreat remains very close to my heart.
Horace — Our Villa Manager
Horace lives nearby and looks after Sevilla Retreat in my absence. With his wonderful sense of humour and infectious laughter, he has a special talent for making people smile! He is always happy to help and is your friendly point of contact throughout your stay.
John — Our Pool & Garden Caretaker
John takes great pride in keeping our swimming pool sparkling and the surrounding gardens and grounds looking beautiful. Thanks to his care and attention, Sevilla Retreat is always ready for guests to enjoy its lovely outdoor spaces.
Nickisha — Our Housekeeper
Nickisha is the person who keeps Sevilla Retreat looking fresh, clean and welcoming. Her care and attention help ensure that every guest arrives to find a lovely, comfortable home away from home.
